- The three company principals, Brett

The Principals
Brett Coker has
over 26 years of successful retail
dealership and consulting experience in all
areas of dealership operation. He has
served as service manager, sales manager,
F&I manager, general sales manager, and
general manager with both domestic and
import franchises (Pontiac, Mazda, GMC
Trucks, Cadillac, Porsche, Volkswagen, Audi,
and Buick).
As vice-president of ASC in Birmingham,
Alabama, Mr. Coker developed and implemented
numerous consulting and training programs
for Oldsmobile, Buick, Cadillac, Hyundai,
and Saturn, as well as consulting services
for hundreds of dealerships in the U.S. and
Canada. He has performed innumerable
workshops, seminars, 20-group meetings and
wrote and co-starred in a series of
broadcasts for ASTN. He also hired,
trained, and managed over 30 fixed-operation
consultants before starting his own
dealership and consulting companies.
Mr. Coker attended Wake Forest University,
has CMC accreditation with the Institute of
Management Consultants, attended the NADA
Dealer Candidate Academy, and is a certified
"Train the Trainer" with Saturn's Outside
Services and Consulting (OSC) division.
Mr. Coker is president of Coker Automotive
Consultants, LLC.
Ken Coker
has over 36 years of successful retail
experience, with over 20 years of automotive
dealership and consulting experience. He
has served as new car sales manager, used
car sales manager, general sales manager,
F&I manager, service manager, fixed
operations director, and comptroller for
dealerships selling and servicing both
domestic and import vehicles.
Ken was the Project Manager for the Toyota
Certified Collision Center Program, the
Jaguar financial statement conversion
program, the Hyundai fixed operations
improvement program, and moderated five
20-group meetings. Ken was also the
National Manager of North American
operations for Summit Consulting prior to
starting Coker Automotive Consultants.
Ken has moderated and taught in literally
hundreds of meetings, seminars, and fixed
operations training classes worldwide. He
has written twenty-two fixed operations
training courses, including courses on
profitability, process improvement, and
sales enhancement techniques. He has
trained over 200 fixed operation managers in
profitability and process improvement in his
consulting career.
Mr. Coker attended the University of
Oklahoma, and currently owns and operates
Coker Automotive Consultants in conjunction
with Brett & Gregg Coker. He is personally
involved in consulting and training for over
65 active automotive clients in the U.S. and
Canada.
Gregg Coker
has over 28 years of automotive experience
in all phases of the retail automotive
dealership. He has served as new car sales
manager, used car sales manager, F&I
manager, general sales manager, general
manager, body shop manager, and fixed
operations director. He operated a
multi-franchise domestic/import dealership
for 11 years and served as Fixed Operations
Director for two major automotive groups.
Mr. Coker developed operations manuals and
the training curriculum for ACDelco service
centers overseas. He wrote and developed the
Hyundai worldwide operations manual for
fixed operations processes. He designed,
implemented, and trained franchised dealers
in the implementation of Business
Development Centers (BDC) for new and used
sales departments.
Mr. Coker attended Wake Forest University
and the NADA Dealer Candidate Academy. He
currently is Manager of North American
Operations at Coker Automotive Consultants
and performs in-dealership consulting and
training in the U.S. and Canada.
